N3K-C3164Q-40GE is the Nexus 3164Q, a 2RU switch with 64 QSFP+ ports. The Cisco Nexus 3164Q is an ultra-high-density, energy-efficient 10/40 Gbps switch designed for data centers. This compact two-rack-unit (2RU) model provides wire-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching on all ports. It runs an enhanced version of the Cisco NX-OS Software operating system, which also supports Nexus 9000 Series switches. It provides comprehensive customer features while simplifying image management. Rich programmability capabilities allow organizations to run today's applications while preparing for demanding and changing application needs such as big data, cloud, and virtualization.
